Forgive Her Youth: From A Former Black Racist

In grace.

From God,

The bars, the shackles, the chains

stay on us if we do not heal the pains.

The future is a lot longer than four hundred years.

Future generations will not cry our tears.

America is still young. We must forgive her youth.

Many have reigned over a thousand years. This is the truth.

Do you want your past to stay in your face.

We must sing the song, Amazing Grace!

The blind can now see.

Redemptively, the slave owner received God’s victory!

Like the thief on the cross, we must forgive the racist.

If we want to be forgiven. It’s how God’s grace is.

Once a sinner, but there will be no burning hell for me!

The blood of Jesus set me free.

Who am I to keep it to myself,

and try to wipe His blood off of somebody else.

That’s not how it works.

Choose faith and put our Savior first!

We must take our eyes off the divide in white and black.

But remember the whips on Yeshua’s back.

Unending blame is not what His pain was for.

I cannot tell you more.

Except, forever relevant is the Christian’s rebirth.

Do not get unforgiven! You must March Forth!
